We celebrated our Ribbon Cutting this past weekend with our first annual Hello Summer Festival!

After weeks upon weeks of rain and chilly spring weather, we finally had some sun. Saturday was the hottest and sunniest day ever, which I thought was so appropriate for our “Hello Summer Festival”. We piggybacked this event to raising money for Bethany Children’s Home in Wernersville, PA.

Bethany Children’s Home is an amazing organization in Berks County, giving hope, inspiration, and support to kids who need it. We celebrated the day with several local vendors and small businesses. There were a ton of raffles to win, all money being donated! We planned a kid’s area with bracelet making, bubbles, water balloons, a water table, and games! We also were proud to host the Conrad Weiser Soccer Team as they are fundraising to play in Europe. Dr. Jason played in Europe when he was in high school and it was the highlight of his soccer career (or a close second)! All in all we feel our event was a success and were able to raise money for Bethany!

As the sun pushed the clouds away that have loomed for weeks, I was feeling nostalgic and cathartic about the ceremony of the Ribbon Cutting. We ae still pushing for our goals and I will never settle because I truly believe this community deserves to be healthy. However, I was reflecting upon our journey to get where we are today, and it was just awesome to have a moment to celebrate. Starting a business with a young family has been challenging and rewarding, to say the least. I couldn’t believe the support from the community! We are truly blessed to be serving this community and will continue to shine on. I can’t wait until next year so we can do it again!
